(G)I-DLE's Jeon Soyeon keeps proving she's unstoppable on the charts, as her solo hit 'I Quit' nabs a fourth music show win on SBS's Inkigayo, outscoring Ateez's 'Bad' and LE SSERAFIM's 'Love Attack' with a massive combined score of 5,366 points while also sweeping Melon's charts. The track, a tribute to a 2005 MBC University Song Festival grand prize winner, continues its reign following previous victories on M Countdown and Music Core. Elsewhere, boy group POW closed out the Seoul leg of their '2026 Color On' tour at YES24 Wonderrock Hall with a surprise encore premiere of 'Love Again,' a new single written by members Hyunbin and Yochi that officially dropped on their third debut anniversary. MAMAMOO brought their '4WARD' world tour to Kuala Lumpur's UNIFI Arena with a trot-flavored twist on classics like 'Taller Than You,' ahead of upcoming stops in Tokyo and Taipei. AKMU also wrapped a sold-out three-night run at KSPO Dome for their 'Rumored Paradise' tour, drawing 30,000 fans with a Mongolian-inspired stage honoring their childhood roots. In legal news, composer Yoo Jae-hwan's forced indecency conviction was upheld by South Korea's Supreme Court, closing a case that began back in 2023.

Mama Moo brought their World Tour energy to Malaysia this past weekend, delivering a packed show at Unify Arena in Kuala Lumpa as part of their 2026 Forward World Tour. The girl group kicked things off with their debut track Mr. Ambiguous before diving into fan favorites like Deccalcomini and Starry Night, keeping that early momentum high throughout the night. Fans also got a playful twist on classic hits, with songs like Taller Than You and Sleep in the Car reimagined in trot style, plus a fun medley segment that mixed in tracks like Wagyu and New York. Each member also took the spotlight for solo performances, showing off their individual styles before the show wrapped up with an encore featuring Umo Aye and Ilela. Mamamu isn't slowing down anytime soon, as they're set to hit Tokyo on October 25th before wrapping up the forward world tour with two nights in Taipei on November 28th and 29th.

Idol's leader Chan Soyun is proving she's definitely not quitting the charts anytime soon, as her solo track I Quit just scored its fourth music show win. On today's broadcast of SBS's Inki Gayo, Soyun beat out strong competition from ATs's Bad and Lesser Afim's Love Attack to take home the trophy, dominating with an online music score of 4,359 points. The track also swept the top spots on Mellon's charts, and when you combine the social media buzz, broadcast points and real-time voting, Soyon's total score of 5,366 points sealed her victory. This marks her fourth win for IQ, following previous triumphs on MNET's M Countdown and SBS's own InkyVale, plus NBC's Music Core. Interestingly, the song itself is a tribute to a 2005 grand prize-winning track from the NBC University Song Festival, and its bold take on the universal theme of quitting your job with that direct, no-nonsense title has clearly struck a chord with listeners everywhere.

Composer and television personality Yu Zhou hun has lost his final appeal in a forced indecency case, with South Korea's Supreme Court confirming his guilty verdict on October 7th. The ruling upholds a fine of 5 million won, along with an order to complete 40 hours of sexual violence treatment programs, closing out a legal battle that began back in 2023. According to industry reports, the case stemmed from an incident where Yu offered free composing services through social media, which led to contact with the victim he was later accused of assaulting. Yu maintained his innocence throughout the entire process, insisting he only exchanged a high five with the accuser and claiming financial hardship had made it difficult for him to even leave his house. Despite the ongoing legal proceedings, Yu had already returned to music under the new stage name Chonggyong, forming a mixed band called Rose with rising singer-songwriter Yun Ji Yu back in June, continuing a career that first took off through his memorable appearances on variety programs like Infinite Challenge and King of Masked Singer.

Boy Group POW just wrapped up an unforgettable kickoff to their 2026 concert tour, and fans are still buzzing about the surprise they dropped during the Encore. The group lit up Seoul's Yes24 Wonder Rock Hall on October 9th and 10th for their tour titled 2026 Color On, blazing through hits like Valentine, Pei, and Why while also treating fans to a rocked-out version of Still Choosing You and a cover of Justin Bieber's That Should Be Me. But the biggest moment came when POW used their encore to premiere a brand new song called Love Again, live for the very first time. A heartfelt track co-written by members Hyanbin and Yo Chi to thank their fans for three years of unwavering support. That track officially drops today, October 11th, exactly on their third debut anniversary, giving fans a surprise digital single to celebrate alongside the group. With Soul now behind them, POW is gearing up to take 2026 Color On International, hitting major European cities including Budapest, Warsaw, Berlin, Cologne, Amsterdam, and Milan starting October 14th.

Sibling duo AKMU just wrapped up a dreamy three-day concert run at the KSPO Dome, drawing a massive 30,000 fans for their 2026 tour titled Rumoured Paradise. This marked their first solo concert since launching their own label, Spring of Inspiration, after departing their longtime agency, and the duo clearly wanted to make it unforgettable. The stage design transformed the venue into something straight out of a Mongolian countryside, complete with tents and desert visuals, paying tribute to the siblings' childhood spent growing up there. Tanyok and Suhyun performed on a full 360-degree stage, moving freely among fans while blending hit songs like Hey Jude Inspired Lovely, Dinosaur, and their chart-topping track Joy Sorrow Beautiful Heart from their fourth studio album Blossom. Suhyon got emotional, thanking fans for three unforgettable nights, while Chanhyok reflected on a year of careful planning finally coming to life, promising more magic ahead as AKMU continues their national tour through cities including Kangnung, Taegu, Tejian, Pushan, and Kwangju.
