Rock band Sao Tex Day Heroes brought full-blown rockstar energy to the stage ahead of their highly anticipated comeback, tearing through a fiery set at the newly launched XMF 2026 festival in Incheon. Members Yunhe, Gaon, O. Dee, Junhan, and Juyun opened with explosive performances of Strawberry Cake and No Cool Kids Zone, sending the standing crowd into a frenzy of cheers and sing-alongs before diving into fan favorites like Save Me, Pluto, and Freaking Bad. The band didn't forget to hype up their upcoming release, revealing that their new mini album, Impulse, drops on October 12th, marking their first comeback in six months since April's Deadened. Known for genre-bending artistry since their 2021 debut, X-Dinary Heroes continue to flex their self-producing skills on this seven-track record, led by the title song Obsessed with Youth. The festival itself made history as the first ever Korea-Japan cultural exchange event of its kind, bringing together 22 acts from both countries, including Day 6, 1 OK Rock, and Uberworld, for a night celebrating music across borders.

Idol just hit another major milestone, with their music video for Wife officially crossing 100 million views, marking the 15th time the group has reached that huge number for a single video. The track comes from their second full album, 2, released back in 2024, and it's known for its catchy bubblegum pop sound, along with that striking visual concept where all five members, Mion, Minnie, Soyon, Yuki, and Shuhua, transform into matching twin-like looks with identical outfits and wigs. This latest achievement follows the album's title track, Superlady, which also surpassed 100 million views, and fans are now watching closely, as another song from the same album, Fate, closes in on that Mark II, with its live clip already past 90 million views. Idol's catalogue is honestly stacked with hits, since tracks like Queen Card, NXD, and Tomboy have each soared past 400 million views, cementing their status as genuine global mega hits. All this comes right after the group wrapped up their 2026 world tour, Syncopation, on a high note, and now each member is diving into solo projects and other activities across the industry.

Girls Day, Alum and actress Heri just gave fans a peek into a solo getaway, hopping on a plane to Vancouver, Canada, right after wrapping up her Asia tour and fan meetings for To You My Dream. In a new YouTube video, she opened up about feeling an unexpected emptiness once the tour ended, admitting she'd forgotten how to simply enjoy everyday life and needed a reset. Rather than sticking to a packed itinerary, Yeti kept things low-key, sitting on random benches, reading in cafes, and browsing cute little shops around the city for about a week. She shared that bottling up her emotions had left her feeling drained and even a bit anxious lately, but says this trip helped melt all that stress away. Yeti also got candid about the pressure she's felt hosting her content series Health Club, revealing she's now choosing to ditch the polished persona and speak more honestly about what's really on her mind going forward.

Performing at the family concert held along Dawson Boulevard in Seoul, the beloved Ballad King kicked things off with classics like That Time Again and You Who Rely Me. Before his signature track, Soju OneGlass, had the entire crowd singing along, word for word. He even surprised fans with an impromptu a cappella verse of Already to me. After fans called out for it, showing just how connected he was with the audience of all ages. Switching gears, Lim Chang Jung then fired up the crowd with his new single Tat Tat Tat, a dance-infused semi-trot track blending E D M and traditional trot sounds, along with fan favourites, Dancing with Wolves, and Open the Door, encouraging everyone to dance and let loose like he was their personal festival DJ. With Tat Tat Tat, having already proven its staying power on major music charts since its release this past July, Lim Chang Jung continues to show why he's considered one of Korea's most versatile all-round entertainers, and fans are excited to see where his energetic festival run takes him next.
