BTS has rewritten touring history, with their massive Arirang World Tour surpassing $500 million in gross revenue, making them the first pop act ever and only the seventh group of any genre to reach that staggering milestone. August alone saw the septet rake in $171.7 million from roughly 800,000 fans across North America, including a jaw-dropping $32 million from two nights at MetLife Stadium, with South American and Southeast Asian legs still ahead through March. Meanwhile, Hollywood's Tom Cruise made his own history, logging his 13th visit to Korea, a record for any Hollywood actor, to promote 'Digger' in Seoul after director Alejandro G. Inarritu's planned trip was called off. Elsewhere in K-pop, EVNNE announced their comeback mini album 'On: Our Noise' for October nineteenth, IVE is hyping their 'girl hero' era with 'Looks Can Kill,' and TWICE's Jeongyeon is stepping into acting for the first time in the horror film 'New Recruit The Movie.' PLAVE also revved up buzz with a racing-themed concept for their upcoming 'HYPERDRIVE' mini album.
