His agency LSC just revealed the promotion schedule for the project, titled 40th Anniversary Tribute Duet by Lee Sung Chul, where he'll be reworking beloved songs from throughout his career alongside younger stars. The rollout kicks off on September 21st with concept photos and live clip teasers, followed by behind-the-scenes content and music video previews leading up to the pre-release single dropping on September 30th at 6 pm. Seventeen's Hoshi is on the road to recovery after undergoing surgery for a torn ACL in his right knee. Actor Chao Unwu has become the victim of an illegal wiretapping incident, and it's raising serious concerns about celebrity privacy in South Korea. Police in Seoul's Yong San District are currently investigating a woman in her 50s who allegedly installed listening devices at a cafe on two separate occasions last month, hoping to secretly record the star's conversations. The scheme was uncovered when the cafe owner grew suspicious and reviewed security footage, leading to a police report and the woman's formal investigation under communications privacy laws. Authorities are now considering phone forensics to determine whether she acted alone or had any accomplices, as well as how she managed to obtain the recording equipment in the first place. Choon Wu himself has not yet been called in for questioning, but this case adds to a growing list of privacy violations facing top Korean stars this year.
