The legal battles in Korean Entertainment continue as Ives agency Starship Entertainment announced that a perpetrator who distributed deep fake videos of the group members received an actual prison sentence. The agency revealed they have filed additional complaints today against malicious YouTube channels and so-called cyber wreckers who repeatedly posted fabricated content about member Zhang Wan Young, including distorted videos and false narratives about her character. Starship emphasized they will pursue legal action not only against original posters, but also against accounts and channels that repeatedly share and spread such content, regardless of whether anonymous accounts or overseas platforms are used. The company stated they will continue to take a zero-tolerance approach to protect their artists' rights and ensure a safe working environment.

Several legal cases reached resolution in the entertainment industry, with comedian Lee Jin Ho's suspended sentence becoming final after both he and prosecutors chose not to appeal. Lee received one year and six months in prison with three years of probation plus 120 hours of community service for habitual illegal gambling totaling 870 million, won across 664 instances, between May 2023 and October 2024, as well as drunk driving. Netflix's Korean series The Mole claimed the number one spot on the platform's global top ten non-English shows chart in its second week, accumulating 4.4 million viewing hours.
