OTT platform Taving has issued a formal apology and announced comprehensive compensation measures following a massive personal data breach that affected approximately 39.5 million user accounts. The company revealed at a press conference that 20 different types of personal information were leaked, including names, birth dates, phone numbers, and email addresses, with phone numbers and emails essentially exposed in plain text, despite encryption.
