Singer and actress Rose from Blackpink has made headlines for turning down a massive 100 million one advertising deal from a major Chinese tea beverage brand, demonstrating her selective approach to brand partnerships. Industry reports reveal that she also declined a year-long collaboration with a prestigious champagne brand after the proposed bottle design didn't meet her standards, despite extensive negotiations for a special edition product bearing her name. This selective strategy reflects Rosé's elevated global status following the massive success of her hit song Apartment, which peaked at number three on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, setting a record for K-pop female artists at the time. Her decisions showcase how top-tier K-pop artists are increasingly prioritizing brand alignment and creative control over lucrative financial offers as they established themselves as global pop stars.

Mark from NCT is launching his solo career with the digital single My Friend, set for release on September 10th at 1 p.m. across all major music platforms. The newly released music video teaser showcases Mark running fearlessly through green fields and standing before intense flames, capturing the energy and determination of youth as he embarks on his independent journey. After establishing his own label Upper Room, following his departure from SM Entertainment and NCT in April, Mark has been actively connecting with fans through unique channels, including opening a fan communication platform called Lalo that attracted 42,000 subscribers and messages within just one hour. While films like The Man Standing Next and Spring and Soul depicted these historical events from the perspective of those directly involved, this series takes a unique approach by viewing the power struggle through the lens of fictional peripheral characters. The family dynamics have become significantly more complex and emotionally charged, with Hayon Bin's character Baek Kite now facing opposition not only from his nemesis Jung Wu-Sung, but also from his brother played by Wu Doan, creating new layers of conflict that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
