Actor Ma Dongseok is joining the cast of Netflix's Extraction 3, alongside Chris Hemsworth, marking a major Hollywood collaboration for the Korean action star. The film TJ Song of Beelzebub held its production presentation, marking the finale of the 20-year TJ franchise, with a story centered on online casino business partners turned bitter rivals. Lead actors Byun Yohan and No Jae Wan will portray former best friends Jiang Tai Young and Park Taiung, whose relationship deteriorates into a brutal psychological battle over betrayal and revenge. The cast underwent intensive preparation, with Bun Yohan training extensively with professional poker players to master both the technical skills and psychological aspects of the game, while the film is scheduled for release on September 23rd during the Chucyok holiday season.

Actor Yu A-in is returning to Korean cinema through director Zhang Jee hyun's new mystery occult film, Vampire, joining a cast that includes Lee Su Hungmin, Li Jun Huk, Doei, Yunkyu Hung-ho, and Choi Hyun Wuk. Yuai In will play a mysterious contract killer who pursues an unidentified cult group after receiving a request from a priest, portraying a character who remains composed until encountering unknown supernatural entities. The film marks director Zhang Je-hyon's fourth feature following his successful occult films The Priests, Svaha, The Sixth Finger, and the 10 Million Viewer hit Eczema. The production recently completed script readings and is scheduled for release in 2028, with distributor New announcing the casting lineup.
