Actor Heo Namjoon is reuniting with I.U. The two previously worked together in May of last year for IU's remake track, Never Ending Story, where Heyo expressed overwhelming joy at simply being acknowledged by the singer. His agency H. Solid confirmed that filming for IU's new album music video is scheduled to take place next month. Meanwhile, Heyo Namjoon has selected the new TVN drama Whale Star as his next project, a story set during the Japanese colonial period about a man who dedicates everything to his country and the woman who tries to protect him.

Kiki is gearing up for an August comeback, continuing the momentum from their breakthrough hit 404. Starship Entertainment confirmed the group is targeting a mid-August release and working hard to deliver fresh music that showcases Kiki's unique identity. This marks their return approximately seven months after their second mini album, The Lulupack, which achieved remarkable success with the title track 404, topping major Korean charts including Melon Heart100 and Bugs. The song's addictive performance sparked a challenge craze across short-form platforms and charted on Billboard's global chart for eight consecutive weeks, while the group earned their first music show Triple Crown.

Selling over 660,000 copies on its first day alone. According to HunterChart, the album topped the general album chart and surpassed the entire first week sales of his previous release, No Labels Part Zero One, in just 24 hours, also claiming the highest first day sales for any solo artist album released this year. The title track Ice Cream dominated iTunes top song charts in 10 countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, and the Philippines, while the album itself reached number 5 on the worldwide iTunes album chart. The release showcases an even clearer Yoon June core identity, presenting the artist exactly as he is without labels or limitations.

Director Na Hongjin continues his perfectionist approach with the film Hope, making last-minute adjustments even after the domestic press screening just ten days before the official release. The acclaimed director revealed he rushed to modify sound mixing immediately after the screening ended and delivered additional CG corrections to the post-production team. No explained that creating a theatrical film remains an incredibly difficult challenge, stating that being able to execute freely still feels like a distant goal despite his experience. The eight-year project, which features aliens in a Korean setting, represents his attempt to maximize the theatrical experience through intense action and thriller elements, though he admits there's still much to learn, and many aspects where he feels his work falls short.

JYP Entertainment released the tracklist, revealing songs including the title track Shut the Door, along with Marionette, F-World, Hey Honey, and Cheersong, demonstrating Young Kei's comprehensive musical capabilities.
