Director Na Hongjin's highly anticipated sci-fi thriller Hope is set to hit theaters on July 15th, but the perfectionist filmmaker reveals he's still not done tinkering with the final cut. Speaking at a press conference in Seoul, Na admitted he's watched the film thousands of times over its seven-year production journey and joked that he hopes the day comes when he never has to watch it again. The film, which stars Huang Zhu Hangmin, Zhou Insung, and Zhu Hang Hoyon, tells the story of a small border town thrown into chaos when a tiger is reportedly spotted, though the real threat turns out to be something far more otherworldly. Nai spent over three years on creature design alone and continued making adjustments even after the film's Khan premiere, demonstrating his legendary commitment to getting every detail exactly right.

Releasing today at 6 p.m. Korean time, leader Soyon candidly admitted that after nine years, even the members were getting tired of their signature intense sound, prompting them to strip back and focus on the essence of what makes good music. The title track, Gimme Dat Love, takes an unconventional approach to summer releases, embracing a fight fire with fire philosophy rather than typical refreshing vibes, with addictive repetition of the word love in the chorus. The album showcases a more pop-oriented direction while maintaining the group's confident identity, with member Yuki contributing her self-composed track Love is Pain about the difficulty of letting go after a relationship ends.

K-pop group ITs has claimed their third number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart with their 14th mini album, Golden Hour Part 5. The album moved an impressive 228,000 album units in its first week, with physical sales accounting for 223,000 copies, surpassing their previous best first week sales record in the United States. This achievement marks IT's as one of the few K-pop acts to reach the top of Billboard's main album chart multiple times, having previously done so with the World Episode Final, Will, in 2023 and Golden Hour, Part 2, in 2024. The group recently performed their title track Bad on NBC's The Kelly Clarkson Show, continuing their momentum in the American market.

Pop superstar Taylor Swift's wedding to NFL player Travis Kelsey has become a cultural phenomenon. With the July 3rd ceremony at Madison Square Garden drawing over 1,000 guests and sparking both celebration and controversy. Beatles legend Paul McCartney delivered a stunning surprise performance of I Want to Hold Your Hand at the Reception, marking the first time he'd sung the iconic track publicly in 62 years since a 1964 Paramount Theatre Show. While celebrity attendees included Jennifer Lopez, Sabrina Carpenter, Brad Pitt, and Tom Hanks. With Adam Sandler serving as officiant, the lavish event drew criticism for causing traffic disruptions and business losses during a heat wave and power crisis in New York. The couple attempted to offset negative reactions by donating $26 million to 20 charitable organizations, though media observers noted that even massive philanthropy couldn't fully counter public sentiment about such extravagance during difficult economic times.

These fees can consume 15 to 20% of total production budgets, forcing producers to cut costs in other areas like equipment and set design, ultimately affecting the quality of advertisements. The situation is complicated by a package system where certain stylists are exclusively tied to specific celebrities, leaving advertisers with no choice but to pay premium rates, and legal experts confirm these professionals have no legitimate copyright claims to justify the additional fees they charge for different media formats.

New Boy Group Bayan made their official debut with a showcase for their first album, Youth Today, presenting a fresh take on the concept of youth through weather metaphors. The six-member group, featuring members from Japan, China and Korea with ages spanning six years, promises to showcase diverse perspectives on what it means to be young in today's world. Their title track, Mua, is a bright, high-teen dance pop song that interprets summer's hot sun as a signal of love and the trembling of youth, featuring a signature cheekpoke choreography that members plan to turn into a viral challenge. Four of the six members previously competed on Eminet's survival show, Boys Planet. And while they didn't make the final debut group, they've regrouped with renewed determination under the production guidance of Kim Jej-jung, who personally selected the youth concept and emphasized the importance of manners and respect in the industry.
