StrayKids' new digital single, Run It, has taken global music charts by storm immediately upon release. The track chart strayed to number one on the Worldwide iTunes song chart and the European iTunes song chart, while also topping iTunes charts in 41 countries and regions, including the United States and Australia. The group will kick off their new world tour in August at Seoul's KSBO Dome before making history as the first overseas male artist to perform at Tokyo's National Stadium, with the tour continuing through Nagoya, Osaka, Hong Kong, and Bangkok.

BTS has made history on Japan's Oricon charts by becoming the first overseas artist to achieve multiple number one rankings in the first half of the year. Their fifth full-length album, A Rirang, topped both the album ranking and the combined album ranking for the period from December 8th through June 7th, selling approximately 728,000 copies. This marks BTS's second time reaching number one on the album ranking, following their Japanese fourth album, Map of the Soul 7 the Journey. The group expressed gratitude to their fans, stating they're honored that their first full group album in three years and nine months has been so well received, with Are Rang also appearing on numerous international media outlets lists of the best albums of the first half of 2026.

Boy Next Door heated up Jamsil Baseball Stadium with a special appearance at an LG Twins vs. Samsung Lions game, where they performed a custom cheer song based on their hit Viral. Members Myung Jeehyun and Sung Ho handled the ceremonial first pitch and first bat, while the entire group took the stage during the fifth inning to perform their specially adapted cheer song with original choreography and lyrics. The collaboration holds special meaning as member Myung Jee-hyoon and LG catcher Li Juheon are middle and high school classmates from Seongnan who have maintained their close friendship.

The track, released in February of last year, captured Hearts with its wistful melody and the members' clear vocals previously earning gold certification after just five months. This marks Eilet's third streaming certification from the Japanese Association, following their debut song, Magnetic, which achieved double platinum status in record time for a female group, and Lucky Girl Syndrome, which earned gold certification. The group is ramping up their Japanese activities this summer with their first tour across five cities and a second Japanese single hue I Got Your Back Set for Release in late July.

Cordes has reached another streaming milestone with their debut album, Color Outside the Lines, surpassing 600 million plays on Spotify just nine months after release. The album hit 100 million streams within its first month and has consistently added 100 million stream milestones, most recently jumping from 500 million to 600 million in just 55 days. The debut album has also become the best-selling debut album in K-pop history, according to Circle Chart, with over 2.1 million copies sold while maintaining impressive longevity on Billboard's World Albums Chart at number 5 for 41 weeks.

So G-Sub returns to action in the new SPS drama Chief Kim. But this time the action is driven by paternal love rather than pure adrenaline. Playing an ordinary savings bank employee who is secretly a former special operations agent. So revealed he was initially drawn to the script for its action sequences, but ultimately chose the project because of the father-daughter storyline. The actor described this action as more desperate than his previous work, explaining that his character fights not just to survive, but to stay alive for his daughter, joining so in creating a unique dad universe. Our Choi Dae Hoon and Yun Kyung-ho, who play fellow former agents now living as fathers, each bringing their own distinctive action style from taekwondo kicks to powerful combat moves.
