SPEAKER_00We're your host bringing you all the hottest updates from the K-pop and K drama world.
SPEAKER_01Today is June 13th, 2026, and we've got some incredible stories to share with you.
SPEAKER_00Let's dive right in.
SPEAKER_01BTS member Jim brought a fun and youthful moment to the group's Busan concert by shouting out Girl Group Listen with their viral Yahoo catchphrase. During the second night of their Ari Rang in Busan World Tour on June 13th, Jin exclaimed Busan Yahoo to the crowd, referencing the trending meme popularized by the Rising Girl Group. He laughed afterward, saying he felt like a member of the new generation, while RM praised fans for their stamina training ahead of the special anniversary show. The playful moment showcased Jin's awareness of current K-pop trends and added a lighthearted touch to the meaningful 13th anniversary celebration.
SPEAKER_00BTS celebrated their 13th debut anniversary with heartfelt messages during their Busan concert on June 13th, marking a deeply emotional homecoming for the group. Busan natives Junkuk and Jimin expressed special joy at performing in their hometown on such a meaningful date, with Junkuk greeting fans in Busan dialect saying Bangab Subni Day, and Jimin sharing his happiness about singing and dancing where he was born. V reflected on the group's positive memories in Busan from previous concerts in 2019 and 2022. While Sugar expressed hope that fans would feel as happy as the members on their special birthday, Leader RM emphasized the significance of spending this once-in-a-lifetime 13th anniversary of June 13th with the fans present, promising to make it an unforgettable memory.
SPEAKER_01BTS faced criticism after their boos on concert was delayed for the second consecutive night, disappointing the 110,000 fans who attended over two days. The June 13th performance started 23 minutes late at 7.23 p.m. despite announcements that it would begin at 7.20 p.m. following the previous night's 75-minute delay. While the members delivered flawless knife sharp choreography and perfect live vocals once they took the stage opening with hooligan, the repeated scheduling issues drew attention to operational failures by the event organizers. Industry observers noted that while the delays weren't the members' fault, the final product still bears the BTS name, making the timing issues reflect on the group's overall concert experience.
SPEAKER_00BTS released their new track, Come Over, on June 12th, and the song immediately dominated global charts by reaching number one on iTunes in 79 countries and regions including the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan. The song was originally included on the deluxe vinyl edition of their fifth studio album, Ari Rang, released in April, with production by Sugar and contributions from RM and J Hope. The lyrics express the sentiment of inevitably finding your way back to someone even when feeling lost, released strategically during their 2026 BTS Festa celebration week. Meanwhile, their album, Arrow Rang, maintained its number one position on Spotify's weekly top albums global chart for the second consecutive week, marking their ninth time at the top and extending their record for most number one albums this year.
SPEAKER_01General ticket sales on June 12th resulted in an immediate sellout, demonstrating the group's strong domestic fan base ahead of their ambitious 32-show tour across 23 cities. The tour will take them through Japan, the United States, and Europe, with their first ever solo concerts in European cities including London, Amsterdam, Paris, Copenhagen, and Berlin generating significant buzz. Their title track, Boombaya, continues to perform well on Spotify's weekly top songs chart, climbing from 19th to 15th place in Korea and showing upward movement in Malaysia and Saudi Arabia during the June 5th to 11th tracking period.
SPEAKER_00I've kicked off the Australia and New Zealand leg of their second world tour, Show What I Am on June 13th at Sydney's Kudos Bank Arena, promising upgraded performances and diverse set lists. The group will continue with shows at Melbourne's Rodleva Arena on June 16th and Auckland's Spark Arena on June 20th, showcasing their growth as performance artists with strong teamwork. This tour follows their successful concerts in Kuala Lumpur, Osaka, Manila, Singapore, and Macau, where they received enthusiastic responses for their enhanced skills. Ives' February release, Revive Plus, achieved a perfect all kill with the title Track Bang Bang, which also charted on Billboard's global 200 and World Digital Song Sales Charts, while their dual title track, Black Hole, extended their chart success.
SPEAKER_01Leserophim's Boom Bayer continues to demonstrate impressive longevity on global streaming platforms, maintaining its presence on Spotify's weekly top songs chart in seven countries and regions for three consecutive weeks. The track, which samples the iconic global hit Makarina, has shown upward momentum in several markets, climbing from 134th to 96th place in Malaysia, and from 198th to 160th in Saudi Arabia. The song's intro choreography featuring standout facial expressions has sparked numerous dance challenges across social media platforms. Original Makarena choreographer Maya Fry even posted a video dancing to Boombaya, expressing her joy that the energy of Makarena has been reinterpreted through Lei Seraphim's fresh take on the classic hit.
SPEAKER_00Lei Seraphim joined forces with Eyelit and Kat's Eye to release the digital single Iconic by Mistake on June 12th, showcasing a harmonious blend of each group's distinct musical identity. The collaboration brings together three groups under the Hive Umbrella, creating a unique sound that highlights their individual characteristics while demonstrating their collective strength. This release came shortly after Lei Seraphim successfully wrapped up promotions for their second full album, Pure Flow Part 1, and its title track, Boom MBA. The pre-release track Celebration from the same album also gained attention for its addictive qualities, contributing to the overall success of the album cycle.
SPEAKER_01BTS's fifth studio album, Our Orang, continues its impressive chart performance across multiple global markets, maintaining strong positions 12 weeks after its release. The album held at number 37 on the UK official albums chart for the week of June 12th to 18th, while also appearing on several subcategories, including official physical albums at 29 and official album sales at 30. In Germany, the song also held fourth place on the Daily Top Songs Global Chart as of June 11th, remaining in the upper ranks for 84 consecutive days.
SPEAKER_00Until then, stay tuned to All Things Korean Entertainment, and we'll catch you tomorrow.
