SPEAKER_00We're your hosts bringing you all the hottest updates from the K-pop and K-drama world.
SPEAKER_01Today is June 11, 2026, and we've got some incredible stories to share with you.
SPEAKER_00Let's dive right in.
SPEAKER_01Char Garwan, chairman of Big Planet Made Entertainment, has issued a public apology regarding unpaid wages at 100 Label, the parent company, where he serves as major shareholder. The chairman acknowledged that the company failed to meet its most basic obligations to employees who trusted and worked alongside them, expressing deep regret for the delayed payments. The Ministry of Employment and Labour's Seoul Gangnam branch has been conducting comprehensive wage theft investigations since May, following reports from workers beginning in April. The accumulated unpaid amounts reportedly exceed 10 billion one, affecting not only entertainment industry workers, but also external production staff and partner companies, creating a crisis that has seen artists leaving and contract disputes mounting.
SPEAKER_00Adore claims Danielle pursued unauthorized collaborations with overseas artists and brand photo shoots without company approval, specifically citing her work with American band Emotional Oranges despite an injunction. Danielle's legal team counted that she believed the contract had been legitimately terminated and that no advertising contracts or financial gains were involved, arguing that Adore's massive lawsuit effectively prevents any agency from signing her.
SPEAKER_01Beyond American and global charts, Lemonade made waves internationally by entering the UK official singles chart for the first time in the group's career and reaching number 13 on France's SNEP Top Albums chart. The Powerhouse Girl Group will kick off their new world tour, Sync Complexity, in August at Seoul's Gochuk Dome before heading to North America, South America, and Europe.
SPEAKER_00Singer and composer Lee Jay, who rose to Global Stardom through the Netflix anime K-pop Demon Hunters, has been selected to participate in the official 2026 FIFA World Cup theme song DNA. FIFA announced through official social media that Lee Jay joins Andrea Bocelli, David Guetta, and Megan Thee Stallion on the track, with Lee Jay notably singing Korean lyrics in the song's latter half with the line Even If I Fall Again, I rise once more. Both Andrea Bocelli and LiJ are scheduled to perform at the opening ceremony in Mexico City, bringing K-pop representation to one of the world's biggest sporting events.
SPEAKER_01Trot singer John Yu Jin is taking on her first radio DJ role with BTN Radio's new program, John Eugen's Are You OK, premiering on June 17th at 7 p.m. every Wednesday. The show will blend music and listener stories, with John bringing her bright energy and relatable charm to create a comfortable space for communication and shared experiences. The Hunyo Gawang winner expressed excitement about the opportunity, saying she wants to create enjoyable moments filled with conversation and laughter with listeners. John Yujin, who debuted in 2020 with Love What Would You Like To, and recently released Gaio Gaio in March, continues to establish herself as a next generation trot queen while expanding into broadcasting.
SPEAKER_00The production company behind the musical Dream High 2 has apologized for unpaid performance fees, though conflicting accounts have emerged regarding resolution timelines. Art One Company. CEO Kim Unha acknowledged the financial difficulties and stated they plan to complete payments to GOTSEVENS, Young Jay, and other cast members by the end of June. However, Young Jay's agency and Butt Company contradicted this claim, stating no payment deadline was agreed upon for late June and that previous payment plans from last year were not honored. The agency emphasized they will continue pursuing legal action through their ongoing lawsuit, as unpaid fees reportedly total hundreds of millions of one affecting multiple cast members, while Art One Company is already preparing Dream High Season 3 reboot despite unresolved payments.
SPEAKER_01Taneasal Ta's Boy Group Tos has been appointed as official ambassadors for the Korean national soccer team, releasing the 2026 FIFA World Cup support song Dream With Us Today. The track features an energetic message about believing in miracles together, with dynamic melodies and explosive beats capturing youthful passion and determination. The members who have loved soccer since childhood expressed honor at the opportunity and encouraged everyone to sing along to the easy-to-follow chorus, hoping the song brings strength to both players and fans. Two's will open their world tour 24-7 for you and soul on June 27th and 28th at KSPO Dome in Olympic Park before the song resonates throughout stadiums during the World Cup tournament.
SPEAKER_00Starting with unnamed roles like Customer 2 and Police One in his early career, O Juq Cheng Sei appeared in over 120 productions while working part-time jobs and helping at his parents' supermarket to make ends meet. His breakthrough came 22 years after debut with roles in Extreme Job as Ted Chung and the drama when the Camellia Blooms as No Gyutai, followed by consecutive Beksang Arts Awards for his performances in that series and It's Okay to Not Be Okay. His ability to transform into vastly different characters, from comedic roles to chilling villains, stems from years of quietly observing people and dedicating himself to every role regardless of screen time, making him the definition of a reliable actor whose current success in Wild Thing as the endearing balladier Choi Sung Gon continues his hot streak.
SPEAKER_01Singer Jung Dongwan is gifting fans with a concert film titled Jung Dongwan fan concert film, The Road to Meet Again Tomorrow, releasing on June 26th while he serves in the military. The film captures his February fan concert, The Road Crossing Today to Meet Again Tomorrow, held just before enlistment, showcasing his matured artistry through elaborate stage production and powerful live vocals. Special behind-the-scenes content and interviews revealed Jung Dongwan's growth over seven years since debut, while footage from his actual enlistment day shows him saluting fans who filled the venue to support him. Fan nicknames and messages will appear in the ending credits, making this a collaborative project between Jung Dongwan and his fandom Wu Zhu Chongdongwon, with the film screening exclusively at CGV Theatres.
