JYP Entertainment founder Park Jin Young will return to the Waterbaum Soul Stage for the second consecutive year, performing on July 26th as part of Team Green. Abyss Company has unveiled the complete five-member lineup of their first virtual boy group, Incomplete Boys, with the final member, Wanju Yule's narrative animation, released on May 3rd. The solo story animation titled Peace Five Apartment Lights was directed by Ru Nakayama, known for his work on the anime Chainsaw Man, and depicts Wanju Yule as a lonely boy living in an apartment complex who communicates with the world through piano performances. The emotional narrative begins with the phrase, I am a coward boy, and shows his growth journey as he connects with other boys through music, creating what fans are calling an unprecedented narrative cheat key for a virtual idol. With all five members now revealed, including Nathan, Imon, An, Soshkwu, and Mahajin, the group's complete puzzle has come together, building anticipation for their musical debut.

Actor Park Ji-hoon is transforming into a lovable military cook in the upcoming TVN drama The Legend of the Cook Soldier, a military cooking fantasy series premiering May 11th. At the May 6th press conference, Park described his character Kao Hung Sung-jee as endearingly clumsy yet funny, confidently stating that his cute comedy style is his acting strength. Girl Group Billy has released their first full-length album, The Collective Soul and Unconscious, Chapter 2, marking a bold experimental chapter in their five-year career. The 12-track album showcases an expanded musical spectrum with the title Track Zap, a post-hyperpop song featuring rough bass lines, powerful vocals, and distinctive rapping that builds to an explosive chorus. Member Moon Sue explained that the group enjoys pushing boundaries and took nearly a year to properly develop their sound rather than rushing to meet debut anniversary expectations, with the album's keyword being self-awareness, and the message that answers lie within rather than externally. The album demonstrates high member participation, with Moon Sewer contributing to the lyrics of WARK, while Siyun and Haram co-wrote TBD, expressing their desire to communicate with audiences in their own authentic language.

The ambitious tour will span 32 shows across 23 cities, including stops in Japan, extensive US states from Los Angeles to Newark, and their first ever solo European concerts in London, Amsterdam, Paris, Copenhagen, and Berlin in October, before concluding in Taipei, Singapore, and Manila in November. The tour poster features the members standing resolute amid turbulent waves, symbolizing their determination to move forward without being swept away by rough waters. This expanded tour follows their successful first world tour, Easy Crazy Hot, and coincides with the May 22nd release of their second full album, Pure Flow Part 1, which explores the members' growth through acknowledging and confronting their fears.

Hybe and Geffen Records are preparing to debut their second girl group following the success of Kat's Eye, with the final member selection coming down to Japanese contestants Ayana and Sakura. The two finalists will compete in a decisive showcase on May 12th at a Los Angeles venue, with Ayana performing the new song We Ride and Sakura presenting Party Before the Party, joined by already confirmed members Emily from the US, Lexi from Sweden, and Samara from Brazil. Emily has worked as a professional dancer since age 14 and is a the debut Dream Academy finalist, while Samara impressed with her soulful voice, and Lexi brings composing and producing abilities as an all-rounder member.
