Director Kim Sung-hoon revealed that Park Bo Young underwent significant physical transformation for her role as customs officer Kim Hee Ju, losing weight in filming with minimal makeup to portray a character consumed by greed after accidentally obtaining one ton of gold bars worth 150 billion won. Lee Kuang Su created a striking visual transformation for his role as Park, a ruthless organization executive personally suggesting ideas like facial scars, gold accessories, and tattoos to represent the character's obsession with gold and difficult past.
