The investigation centers on allegations that Bang misled investors during Hype's 2019 pre-listing period, allegedly deceiving them about the timing of the company's public offering to benefit a specific private equity fund. Police estimate Bang's alleged improper gains at approximately 190 billion one, calculated from profits the fund made after selling Hype shares post-listing. Bang's legal representatives expressed regret over the warrant request, stating he has cooperated fully with the lengthy investigation and will continue to participate sincerely in all legal proceedings to provide a thorough explanation.

The agency accused the Boise's legal representatives of media manipulation and time-stalling tactics, emphasizing they've fulfilled all contractual obligations, including advance payments and settlement fees, while still supporting the group's complete line-up activities.
SPEAKER_00Girl Group Espa has announced their ambitious new world tour titled Think AA, set to kick off in Seoul on August 7th and 8th before visiting 25 cities globally. SM Entertainment revealed the tour will take the Quartet through an impressive international route, including Taipei, Sao Paulo, Santiago, Mexico City, Elmont, Washington DC, Miami, Dallas, Los Angeles, Vancouver, London, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Berlin, Milan, and Paris. This announcement comes as Espa continues their current Sync Axis Line live tour with Tokyo Dome performances scheduled for April 25th and 26th.

The group's main dancer will participate in the Red Bull Dance Your Style Career 2026. Preliminaries on April 26th at Pi Factory in Seoul's Guangjin district, where winners are determined solely by real-time audience, voting without any judges. Only eight contestants will advance to the finals scheduled for June 13th, making the competition exceptionally fierce. The groundbreaking deal marks Joe Sumi as the first exclusive recording artist under SM Classics, which is led by producer Joe Hee Kyung, who previously worked with major global labels, including Universal Music and Warner Music. To celebrate her 40th debut anniversary, Joe Sumi will release a special album titled Continuum in May, featuring 11 tracks with contributions from composers, including Yiruma and Park Jong hoon, as well as collaborations with Exos Suho and violinist Danny Koo. Industry Watchers view SM's move into classical music through this high-profile signing as part of the company's strategic evolution into a comprehensive arts platform, expanding beyond K-pop into diverse musical genres.

The statement corrected circulating rumors, emphasizing that her brother has no legal or management relationship with her company, Blissu, never received compensation, and was not involved in any business decisions despite providing limited advisory help during the company's establishment. Jisoo's team announced they will take civil and criminal legal action against those spreading false information or associating her name and image with unrelated matters, while her brother continues to deny the forced nature of the assault charges.

Song Minho admitted to all charges of failing to properly fulfill his alternative service duties, with prosecutors alleging he was absent without leave for 102 days out of approximately 430 required workdays between March 2023 and December 2024. His legal team explained that Song Minho was suffering from bipolar disorder, panic attacks, and physical pain from a cervical rupture during that period, which led to poor judgment. In his final statement, Song Minho expressed deep remorse and stated he is currently receiving treatment, requesting an opportunity to return to service and complete his duties properly once his health recovers.
SPEAKER_01Newgirl group Yoon Child made their confident debut under High Up Entertainment, the company's first multinational group and first new act in six years since Stacey. The six-member group consists of Korean members Parkyun, Hikki, Yi Bon, and Naha-un, along with Japanese member Ako and Chinese member Tina, bringing diverse backgrounds and distinct personalities to create their unique colour. Their debut single We Are Unchild features the title track Unchild, an electronic pop song with rough guitar riffs and psychedelic sounds that conveys their message of overcoming fear and entering a new world without conforming to conventional boundaries. Member Naha Un, known as YouTuber. Awesome Heyun with 5 million subscribers, expressed happiness about dancing with members rather than alone. While the group showcased impressive live vocals with handheld microphones and a signature choreography move, where they simultaneously bow down and powerfully raise their heads during the get out of the way performance section.
