WJSN member Dae Young opened up about her unconventional approach to creating music, revealing she once again self-funded a trip to Los Angeles to work on her comeback single, What's a Girl to Do? The singer explained that she prefers to create tangible results first before convincing her company purchasing her own plane ticket to Auni LA to source songs rather than asking for support up front. Da Jung emphasized that this comeback required even more preparation than her breakout solo debut Body, which achieved remarkable success by entering Mellon's top 10 and appearing on multiple international best of K-pop lists from outlets like NME, Billboard, and the Hollywood Reporter. The new track showcases a different musical direction with an RB style and slower tempo compared to the high-energy Body, with Dayong focusing on demonstrating her versatility as an artist while incorporating elaborate choreography to maintain audience engagement, and she's said to perform at the Waterbaum Festival in July.
