SPEAKER_02Today is April 3, 2026, and we've got some incredible stories to share with you.
SPEAKER_00Let's dive right in.
SPEAKER_02NCT member Doe Jung broke his silence from military service regarding Mark's departure from the group, posting a heartfelt message during his evening personal time. The member, currently serving in the military until June 20-27, emphasized that Mark remains a beloved friend and that all members have chosen to understand and endlessly support his decision. Do Jung firmly addressed fans, stating that any suspicions or speculation about discord between Mark and the members would cause unbearable sadness and injustice, urging fans to preserve the beauty they've built together over ten years. He promised that NCT127 will continue as a team that remains proud and confident, delivering stages worthy of their legacy while leaving open the possibility of reuniting with Mark in the future.
SPEAKER_00Mark has officially departed from NCT after 10 years with SM Entertainment, ending his journey with both NCT-127 and NCT Dream on April 8th. In a handwritten letter, the artist explained that as his contract period concluded, he awakened all the senses in his heart and became curious about what the completed form of his dream would look like, wanting to dive in properly and focus entirely on that vision. The departure comes after NCT Dream's recent concert series, where members were seen crying uncontrollably during the final show on March 29th, a moment that now appears to have been their last performance as the complete seven-member lineup. Mark expressed gratitude to his members, revealing they all supported his decision without exception, and promised to work hard to present a good version of himself when he greets fans again with a new chapter.
SPEAKER_02EBS is launching Korea's first terrestrial AI drama series with Resurrection Class, which digitally resurrects historical figures using advanced technology. The premier episode on April 5th will feature independence activist An Juhan Goon recreating his final days in Lushen Prison on March 24, 1910, as he wrote his Theory of East Asian Peace. The production minimizes historical distortion by basing content on historical records, expert consultation, and human writers rather than relying solely on AI, with the An Juhan Gun Peace Research Institute and Memorial Association providing verification and materials. Future episodes will bring to life other iconic figures including Socrates, Yun Dongju, Virginia Woolf, Nightingale, and Beethoven, presenting the most decisive day in each person's life while exploring themes of humanity, justice, and mortality.
