BTS continues to shatter records with their comeback album A Ri Rang as the group released a second music video for the track 2.0 on April 2nd, which has already surpassed 10 million views within half a day. The video pays homage to director Park Chan Wuk's iconic film Old Boy, recreating the famous hallway fight scene with a comedic twist that features traditional Korean items like Taegu fans, dance-o flutes, and back scratches instead of weapons. Industry insiders credit three key strategies behind the album's unprecedented success. Massive songwriting camps in the US that attracted top global producers, the bold integration of distinctly Korean elements like the A Re Rang folk song and the Amila Bell sound, and chairman Bang Sihuk's vision of BTS transcending fandom to become a cultural destination that everyone wants to experience. The album has topped both the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 charts, with 13 of its 14 tracks charting on the Hot 100, while Spotify reported a 690% surge in new listeners on the album's release day.
