BTS made a triumphant return to American television with their appearance on NBC's The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, marking their first complete group appearance on the show in five years since 2021. The group received an overwhelming welcome, with audience cheers lasting over two and a half minutes as they made a surprise entrance through the crowd, exchanging high fives with fans. During the interview, RM explained that their new album titled Are Rang references a traditional Korean folk song that encompasses diverse emotions including joy, sorrow, longing, and resistance, symbolizing their Korean roots while hoping the music resonates universally. The highlight came when BTS surprised fans in a recording booth who were singing Swim, with some fans literally sitting down in shock while others froze in disbelief at the unexpected encounter. The group performed Swim at New York's iconic Guggenheim Museum, showcasing their live vocals and smooth choreography along the museum's signature spiral ramp, with RM notably recovered from the ankle injury that had forced him to sit during their recent Guangwamun performance.

The legal battle between Adore and former New Jeans member Danielle took an unexpected turn during the first hearing of their damage compensation lawsuit, with Adore leaving the door open for potential settlement discussions. When the court inquired about the possibility of reaching an agreement, Adore's legal team stated they don't see it as entirely impossible, contrasting sharply with Hybe's firm rejection of former Adore CEO Min Hee Jin's proposal to end all disputes. This marks a notable divergence in approach, as Hybe continues its aggressive legal strategy by filing for cancellation of forced execution and depositing over 29 billion in court guarantees, while Ador appears willing to explore negotiation with Danielle. Danielle's side countered by emphasizing that she had expressed willingness to return to the group, but Adore proceeded with contract termination differently than with other members, making this the first time they've heard about settlement discussions despite the massive penalty claims. The contrasting stances between Hybes' uncompromising position toward Min He Jin and Ador's openness to settling with Danielle has sparked significant interest in how these parallel legal battles will unfold.

The hip-hop competition series Show Me the Money 12 is generating massive buzz among teenagers, dominating music charts and preparing for a major concert event. According to Genie Music's teen chart, four tracks from the show have entered the top 10, with 12 songs total landing in the top 100, demonstrating the program's overwhelming impact on young listeners. Contestant Now, I'm Young, and Royal 44's Kiss Kiss Kiss, featuring the boys' Sun Woo, claimed the number one spot, while Kim Hyon's TikTok featuring Zico took second place, with the latter track particularly notable for elevating previously overlooked contestant Mav into the spotlight. The show's success has translated into a live concert scheduled for May 31st at Yes24 Live Hall in Seoul, featuring over 20 artists, including Kim Hyon, Guano Sun, Now I'm Young, Mason Home, and many others who participated in the music missions. Industry observers note that the show's return after three years with record-breaking applicant numbers of 36,000 has reignited teen enthusiasm for hip-hop's raw energy and competitive rap battles.

The tour resumes April 4th in Kuala Lumpur before heading to North America starting July 21st in Toronto, with stops planned in Montreal, Newark, Austin, Los Angeles, Oakland, Seattle, and Vancouver, following sold out shows already confirmed in Singapore and Macau. I've told Billboard that they've been working hard to show their unique style and more mature performance, promising solo stages for each member alongside new tracks from their second full album, Revive Plus, which recently achieved their sixth career, Perfect All Kill, with Bang Bang.

SM Entertainment's upcoming boy group trainee team, SMTR25, is facing serious privacy violations and safety concerns even before their official debut, prompting the company to issue a stern warning about legal action. The agency revealed that Sasang fans have been trespassing into the trainees' dormitory, making unwanted physical contact, illegally boarding taxis with members, and creating noise disturbances by shouting trainees' names throughout the building. These invasive behaviors have extended beyond affecting the 15-member pre-debut group to disturbing other residents in the building, with reports of trash dumping and unauthorized entry into restricted areas. SM Entertainment stated they have already implemented verbal warnings and security team escorts, but the situation has reached a critical point where the trainees are experiencing severe anxiety in their daily lives. The company emphasized they will take active legal measures with a zero-tolerance policy to prevent safety accidents and protect both the trainees and residents, urging fans to immediately cease all privacy-invading activities before becoming involved in legal consequences.

BTS continues their global domination with Aru Rang, achieving a historic triple crown on Japan's Oricon charts, despite only two days of sales being counted in the tracking period. The album topped the weekly combined album ranking with over 568,000 points, the weekly album, ranking with 546,000 copies, sold exclusively through Oricon retailers, and the weekly digital album chart with 11,851 downloads, setting a new record for overseas artists in Japan. On global platforms, BTS swept positions 1 through 5 on Apple Music's Global Top 100 chart, with title track Swim at number 1, followed by Body to Body, Hooligan, FYA, and Normal in consecutive order. The group plays 12 total tracks in the top 20, while Swim maintained its number one position on Spotify's Daily Top Songs Global Chart for three consecutive days following its release. The album's success comes as BTS prepares for their second consecutive appearance on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon and gears up for their Ari Rang World Tour starting April 9th through 12th in Korea.

Twice member Dayun will be taking a temporary hiatus from group activities to focus on recovering from an ankle fracture sustained during their ongoing world tour This Is For. JRJYP Entertainment announced that despite Dayun's efforts to continue performing after the injury, the nature of the tour's demand in choreography has made it impossible for her to participate safely. The agency emphasized that rest and recovery must take priority over activities at this time. With Dayun expected to rejoin the group once her condition allows her to perform the full dance routines. The decision comes as Twice continues their North American leg of the tour, with upcoming performances scheduled for March 27th and 28th at the Kia Center in Orlando. Fans expressed understanding and support for the decision, hoping for Dayun's swift and complete recovery before she returns to the stage.
